We are eternally grateful for your support as we weather these unprecedented times. Please take a few minutes to read through the following letter to facilitate an easy acclimation to life at IPAC. Fall classes begins October 9, 2021 – June 25, 2022.
We would like to reassure you that we are adhering to all New York State’s Department of Health and the CDC Guidelines, as the health and wellbeing of our students, their families, and our staff are our top priority. We take pride in how we operate and would like to highlight the policies we have in place to help our dance families stay healthy and safe.
Prevention Steps in the Studio:
We are recommending that Dancers arrive in dance attire to avoid excessive time spent in restrooms
We have sanitizer in each studio space, bathrooms, as well as at the front desk, and we encourage you to sanitize frequently.
Hand washing: We encourage frequent hand washing (for at least 20 seconds before rinsing).
Discouraging close contact: We will be holding off on hand holding, hugs, and high fives until concerns are over.
Surface Cleaning: In between every class we are wiping down frequently touched surfaces and equipment.
Only vaccinated staff (without symptoms) will be in the studio.
Please bring water from home or you will be able to purchase water at the front desk.
If a child is coughing or sneezing in class, our teachers will disinfect their hands in the classroom and send the child to the front desk to be sent home.
How you can help:
Don’t send your child to the studio sick or if a family member is sick.
Don’t break any formal quarantine/government restrictions.
Encourage your child to cough and sneeze into their arm, not in their hand.
Alert us if your child does have COVID-19 and have been to the studio within the last 14 days so we can contact their peers.
Parents, limit your time in the building. Drop off/pick up your children if you can.
Should a quarantine be enforced in our community, we do have a contingency plan for handling classes with a virtual online solution.
We know how important it is for your children to stay active and we will do everything we can to keep them growing and learning.
